
BIG BAND DANCES
BIG BAND DANCES at the Roger Robach Community Center, 2nd floor. Handicap accessible. We have a series of Spring & Fall Entertainment. The Spring session is from April thru May. The Fall session is from September thru October. $2.00 donation.
Each night starts out with the Al Bruno Trio and plays from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Starting at 7:10 PM one of the Big Bands will play.
The Spring & Fall Schedule for 2021 will be posted on this site when available.
Providing Entertainment at Ontario Beach Park, Rochester, New York
The Ontario Beach Park Program Committee is an all-volunteer group that provides free family entertainment at Ontario Beach Park, Rochester, New York. They have been in existence since 1984. The committee sponsors The Spring and Fall Big Band Dance Series, Wegmans Concerts by the Shore, Annual Lakeside Winter Festival, Kite Flight, and Romancing the River.
Concerts by the Shore dates for 2021 have been scheduled. However, because of COVID 19 the bands have not been announced until early 2021

CONCERTS BY THE SHORE SERIES
AT ONTARIO BEACH PARK IS IN THE PROCESS OF SCHEDULING FOR THE SUMMER OF 2021
The 2021 season of “Concerts by the Shore” at Ontario Beach Park is in the process of being scheduled. However, the ongoing Covid-19 crisis may change the events. The series, sponsored by Wegmans and presented by the Ontario Beach Park Program Committee with support from Monroe County and the City, has been a summer staple at the beach for more than 30 years.
Jim Farr, Chairperson of the Committee stated, “We are hopeful that we will be able to return to the Summer Concerts by the Shore in 2021. We thank Wegmans for their continued support of family events at the Beach and look forward to bringing this series back next summer.”

Ontario Beach Park Program Committee Announces Big Band Series is being scheduled for 2021!
The Spring Big Band Series held on Wednesday evenings in April and May and the Fall Big Band Series held on Wednesday evenings in September and October in the Roger Robach Community Center as well as the Kite Flight scheduled is being set. However, because of COVID 19 outbreaks, this could change. The committee is coordinating closely with County and City officials as we make decisions related to all future events sponsored by the Ontario Beach Park Program Committee.
