BIG BAND DANCES at the Roger Robach Community Center, 2nd floor. Handicap accessible. We have a series of Spring & Fall Entertainment. The Spring session is from April thru May. The Fall session is from September thru October. $2.00 donation.
Each night starts out with the Al Bruno Trio and plays from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Starting at 7:10 PM one of the Big Bands will play.

Providing Entertainment at Ontario Beach Park, Rochester, New York
The Ontario Beach Park Program Committee is an all-volunteer group that provides free family entertainment at Ontario Beach Park, Rochester, New York. They have been in existence since 1984. The committee sponsors The Spring and Fall Big Band Dance Series, Wegmans Concerts by the Shore, Annual Lakeside Winter Festival, Kite Flight, and Romancing the River.

CONCERTS BY THE SHORE SERIES
AT ONTARIO BEACH PARK 2021
The 35th season of the popular summer concert series, Concerts by the Shore, continues at Ontario Beach Park, 7 p.m., Wednesday, June 23, featuring the soulful, Therese Lott and a group of hand selected musicians. Therese has entertained large crowds for almost 25 years and has opened for performers including LL Cool J and Mary Blige. She has a powerful and sultry voice and has been compared to Whitney Houston and Toni Braxton. The performances will continue every Wednesday through September 1.
Next up June 30, Rochester’s favorite party band, the SkyCoasters , followed by the annual rite of summer, the Rochester Philharmonic at the beach on July 7, playing a mix of classical, pop and patriotic music to fit the season.
Concert attendees are encouraged to arrive early and experience one of the many local restaurants in the Charlotte area, or enjoy the concessions provided on site. Parking is available in the beach parking lots and the park is on the RTS bus route (22 Lake).
Wegmans has been the presenting sponsor for these family-friendly performances at Ontario Beach Park since they began. The series is presented by the all-volunteer Ontario Beach Park Program Committee with support from the City of Rochester and Monroe County.
Food Trucks will be available and there are the local restaurants around the area.
To comply with current COVID-19 protocols provided by New York State and the Monroe County Health Department, unvaccinated attendees are asked to wear a mask. In addition, residents should stay home if they do not feel well or have any COVID-19 symptoms, practice social distancing and comply with any signage or directions from staff on-site.

July 7, 2021, Rochester Philharmonic Rochester was cancelled due to bad weather. Every effort is being made to try and reschedule the event.
The 2021 season of “Concerts by the Shore” at Ontario Beach Park has been scheduled.
The series, sponsored by Wegmans and presented by the Ontario Beach Park Program Committee with support from Monroe County and the City, has been a summer staple at the beach for more than 30 years.
RULES TO COMPLY WITH COVID-19 PROTECAL AS ALLOWED BY GOVERNMENTS
The Monroe County Health Department has allowed us to move forward with the Concerts by the Shore starting June 16th. No contact tracing, no temperature checks, will have screening signage and encourage social distancing and mask for unvaccinated.
